About the founder
Jack Perry is the founder and CEO of Syncbak, Inc., a media technology company that has built a cost-effective live streaming platform for US broadcasters. Prior to Syncbak, Perry was CEO of Decisionmark Corp. (1996-2009), a 2004 Inc. 500 fastest growing company.
Perry is the creator of several products serving the satellite and broadcast communities and is credited with creating the technology that enables satellite companies to provide distant network signals and local programming to their subscribers. Perry also created TitanTV.com, the first online search utility for television, AntennaWeb.org, a consumer website supporting the transition to digital broadcasting and ProximityTV.com, a web-based technology used by every ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox television station. Perry holds twenty-one patents related to delivery of entertainment content over-the-air, over-satellite and over-the-Internet. He is a respected figure inside the beltway on issues related to digital entertainment, copyright and communications law and has testified before US Congress.
In 2002 Perry was inducted into the Academy of Digital Television Pioneers and nominated for an Academy Award (Best Industry Leadership) in 2005. He was also elected to National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in 2003 and named one of the 40 most influential people in the consumer electronics industry the same year.

Syncbak said its streaming platform, SimpleSync, now powers 2.5 million hours of live TV programming on an annual basis. It said its technology now covers 90% of U.S. homes, and is currently ingesting more than 400 TV stations across 161 markets that represent 51 broadcast groups, and all major broadcast networks, including CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC and the CW.
