• Provide design guidance for developers relative to streaming technologies for mobile, smart TV’s, and the web.
• Working experience with live streaming.
• Thorough understanding of diverse streaming technologies, protocols, and platforms (RTP, RTMP, HTTP Live Streaming (HLS), Flash Media Server/Flash Media Live Encoder, WOWZA, Microsoft, etc.)
• Understanding of Amazon’s S3 environment
• In depth knowledge of WOWZA configuration and plug-in capabilities
• In depth knowledge of video en coding and transcoding standards (H.264, MPEG-4, etc.)
• Understanding of how to utilize CDNs to support large volumes of viewers
• Understanding of network latency and buffering requirements for consumption of video on various devices
